Type of Patients: Complete orthopedics and traumatology \/except spine surgery\/. Joint\u00a0 replacement,\u00a0 complete arthroscopy of large joints and\u00a0 intraarticular reconstructions.<\/p>\n

Equip. Used: We operate in two modern, aseptic, operating theaters with laminar air flow, equipped with a portable X-ray amplifier, arthroscopic towers with shaver, vaporizer, arthroscopic pump and also video and photo recorder. We use modern implants and instrumentation of reputable manufacturers.
\nDuties & Skills:\u00a0 Autonomous working at the department, admissions of patiens, preoperative examinations and planning, complete perioperative care including ICU. In outpatient care, we perform comprehensive examination of joints , tendons , muscles and the skeleton, preventive examinations of\u00a0 adults.\u00a0 We provide a wide range of orthopedic and traumatology surgical procedures. Of these, the most common arthroscopic procedures on knee joint \u2013 treatment of meniscal injuries ( meniscectomy or suture ), cruciate ligament repair and cartilage defects repair ( mosaic plastics, Chondrotissue ). We also do shoulder arthroscopy ( subacromial decompression, joint stabilisations, rotator cuff repair),\u00a0 arthroscopy of ankle and elbow. Another focus of our department is endoprosthetics (cemented or cementless replacement of hip and knee joints, including revision surgery ). We provide extensive operative treatment of\u00a0 limb injuries (hip and long bone fractures, intra-articular reconstructions, ORIF using stable implants \u2013 plates, intramedullar nailing) and treatment of traumatic musculoskeletal conditions.<\/p>\n

Type of Patients: Treatment in a rehabilitation institute is focused on patients with impaired central nervous system and\u00a0 motor system. Conditions after serious operations ( brain , spine , joints , bones , etc.), multiple trauma (including head injuries), conditions after joint replacements and other orthopedic diseases, severe neurological disease, rheumatic diseases, conditions after severe internal diseases.
\nDuties & Skills\u00a0 Conducting treatment suitable for convalescence and recovery, which also includes\u00a0 permanent emergency service at a department.<\/p>\n

Type of Patients: Arthroscopy center provides a complete range of arthroscopic interventions. Procedures such as intraarticular soft tissue\u00a0 reconstructions in a knee joint \u2013 meniscal suture , transplantation of cartilage, ligaments repair, stabilizing operations of shoulder dislocations.<\/p>\n

Duties & Skills: Outpatient surgery (90 % of patiens\u00a0 undergo procedures in general anesthesia. These are admited at\u00a0 day of surgery and dismissed 4-6 hours later,\u00a0 10 % of patients whoa are given spinal anesthesia are usually dismissed the next day)
\nKnee arthroscopy with meniscal injury treatment \/ menisectomy , meniscal suture, debridement of degenerative changes, microfractures of cartilage defects, repair per Chondrotissue, diagnostic arthroscopy of knee cartilage defects, treatment per mosaic plastic, reconstruction of LCA and LCP ruptures, synovectomy , operations supporting apparatus of the patella.<\/p>\n

Type of Patients: This hospital has one of the largest orthopedic clinics in the Czech Republic. The clinic is\u00a0 focused on medical and preventive care within the full extent of\u00a0 orthopedics\u00a0 i.e. children\u2019s orthopedics, spondylosurgery, alloplastics ,sport traumatology, oncology orthopedics, general orthopedics, septic orthopedics, prosthetics and musculosceletal trauma.

\nDuties & Skills: Providing emergency medical care such as resuscitation, treatment of life threatening bleeding, trauma, acute heart failure, severe asthma\u00a0 etc. Parenteral administration of drugs, medical gases, monitoring life functions\u00a0 Stabilizing the patient.
